Dental Braces Philippines
It's valentine's day! A super special day to show love and appreciation to your special someone.
A lot of these fun and exciting emotions get to show itself through sweetness and all the acts that come with it!
But, just like in love, don't forget yourself in the process of having all these sweetness hurt you in the end.
Delectable candies, cakes and chocolates provide the setting of a love-filled day for the both of you.
But sad to say , these sweets are not really great for your oral health.
The bacteria in your mouth feed on sugar. The more sugar present in your mouth means the higher the chance of cavity formation. The acids formed will damage the outer layer of your teeth and eventually the inner layers as well.
Although I'm a self-confessed sweet tooth, my advice is to stay away from sticky ones and those hard candies.
Make sure to brush and floss your teeth at least twice a day and see your dentist every 6 months to ensure that you are able maintain optimal dental health.
The love quote "Letting go doesn't mean I don't love you" doesn't apply to your teeth. A decaying tooth due for removal means that you didn't love it enough to save it.
Remember, permanent teeth come only once and are destined to become part of you. False teeth can never truly replace the natural ones. With your natural teeth, you get to smile with no pretensions.
Here is what we did with our patient this month when he can no longer smile after neglecting them.
We also did professional cleaning, stain removal and laser whitening. Viola! All smiles!
This valentines, discover a more confident you.
While there are multiple ways to replace your teeth, like implants, partial and full dentures, the best way to prevent losing your teeth is to simply fall in love with them and that means, taking good care of your pearly whites.
